WTF My Iphone!

My Iphone is next to me, sitting there doing nothing in the locked mode.

All of a sudden, its vibrating none stop! Nothing on the screen (blank) and I cant get it to stop!

What can I do?

Managed to hold the home and lock buttons and switched it off - Its a bloody new phone!
