I'm building a engine on megasquirt. I'm offerd now a set of 380cc injectors, but are they good for a standard engine? I'm only going to turn up boost appart from that it will be a std engine.

Are these injectors good or too big?

 

They'll be fine mate. Rover turbo are 380cc.

they'll be alright for a big of extra power, i had some rover turbo ones turned up to flow 440cc, but they weren't great over 10psi of boost on high revs though, zvh uses quite a bit of fuel to get the power out though.

 

Be ok for up to about 190-200bhp mate.

 

how much cc are you guys running and what's your set up?

 

630cc on a 1.6cvh, T3 (.36/50), 20psi boost, injectors are at 68% Duty full load WOT 231bhp.
My old 480cc injectors where at 106% Duty at that boost.

 

630cc siemens deka, same as Karl, 1.8zvh 4wd cossie turbo .048 housing, 23psi of boost, max of 80% duty so far.
they will run less duty for same boost on my zetec turbo engine i'm planning to build in the near future though.

 

630cc will do a solid 450hp on a zetec
