Default avo coilovers on 4x4 saph cossie?

thinking of avo coilovers,300lb front and 200lb rear seems to be the poundages of springs,
are they ok poundage wise?
been asked loads but is it worth doing?
on koni and bayjoo(supposidly)springs just now, seems ok on good roads but on crap roads like im normally on car seems to feel is if front has alot of bump steer,
any advice muchly appreciated
cheers colin

Not 4wd(tractor ha ha!!) but have this on me 2wd sapphy, 300lb 9" front 200lb 12" rear, but imo rear is a tad too soft, will be trying some 225 or 250lb rear, when engine rebuild done.
It's defo firm, but VERY controlled and I like it, no one really finds it uncomfortable, esp in rear.

Is it for road use??

Been told coilovers are too harsh for the road, if the car is used regular.
Know 3 guys who fitted them to road cars, then took them back off.

Depends if you dont mind compromising the driveability of the car.
Made that mistake by fitting an AP paddle clutch, ruined what was an enjoyable car to drive.

A decent Koni kit on hard setting is plenty for the road IMO.

I'd just turn up the Konis mate. Each to his own!!
Others may disagree tho.

What i've been told is good enough not to change mine.
