Who thinks the standard of football, in general, at this world cup has been less than amazing?
And do you think it's the vuvuzelas?

I think all of the top teams have been poor regardless of results.
Spain vs Swiss was the biggest disappointment for me so far, worse then our draw against Algeria in my eyes.
Can't wait for the dead wood to be off loaded so we can watch some class games.
Big-Dan.

Does anyone else think it's down to the vuvuzelas? Doesn't feel like there's much of
an atmosphere at the games. The crowd doesn't rise and fall with the play, it's just 90 minutes of HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnn nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Bookies have loved this world cup....
Think it's all the top countries used to cushy stadiums, facilities, pitches and even atmospherics etc. trying to pick up the slack. Premium footballers are just fuckin tarts

Germans good? Yes looked ok against 10 men in game 1 but got beat yesterday! Didn't see the game though.
I agree though the standard hasn't been great yet.
V disappointed by spain
The Dutch haven't been great either in all honesty. 6pts but they've dug out the results.
Argentina have been good and I've liked Mexico too, nice slick football at times. Worry about their defence and how they will cope without Vela now.
Overall the tournament has been shite. Don't think the Vuvu's have helped but I genuinely think the pressure and expecatation is what's got to England -
prime example being Rooney.
I hope to fuck it picks up soon, I'm not keen on wasting more flexi time at work nipping to the Casino to watch the lunchtime games if it's going to be shite!
