Default cossie brakes

Can someone explane how the fook there supposed to feel, when i turn the ignition on i can here it buzzing and then stops after a few seconds, now the pedal has always had the same travel since i have owned it but occasionaly at slow speeds when i brake gently i can here the buzzing sound, the pedal goes quite firm and the brakes feel so much sharper.
Do i have a fault somewhere, i have put a meter on the abs sensors and they all read wot the book states.

Cheers.

But it dont do it all the time Jimmy, If i brake from speed the pedal will only firm up when it starts to come to rest.

It's working normally, mosty likely pump is running when braking at speed as needed, but due to noise you can't hear it ?

Tabs, ok but why when it slows does the pedal pump up and the brakes feel extra good just before it comes to a stop? Is that normal?

No sounds a bit odd, mine doesn't do it, maybe more down to the pads getting a bit gripier as they heat up upon slowing down.

As said the system is working normally, pump should run for a while when turned to position 1 and then stop, ABS light should also estinguish after a self diag in position 2, however this is a common problem which I have myself, never really bothered with it as it's never caused me bother.

It's when you are going about 5MPH then go to brake isn't it, the pedal goes hard and you get a noise?

My thought is it's caused by air being in the system, rather than a sensor fault as when it happens the ABS light never illuminates.
