ive got a mk4 bumper coming not sure if its 90 spec or not but im thinking about the big mouth front end but am unsure.I would like some views of what you guys think

 

dont chop a std one. if your going to cut it, just buy one already done they're not worth much. the "open mouth" is an old look now, but if you mod the front bar to make it smaller etc that can still look fresh.

by middle bar i take it you mean wher the plate fits and then move the plate lower down.The reason im not buying one done is im getting the bumper for free so thought i would have a look at what to do.Does anyone have any pics with the middle bar cut down?

 

Don't do it they look horrible to me.

 

if its a 90 spec bumper then don't mod it sell it buy 88 spec mod that and make a few quid profit in the process too

also i quite like both with and without "big mouth" but would go for either std or as orionmojo said smaller centre bar unless running really big power and needing iy open to cool down

 

This is mine. Had a standard bumper on but dident like it also the bonnet is being changed soon.

not a fan of the full open mouth thats why i leave the middle bar in just thin it down

 

'twins' bumper seems the best bit if you were to go for it, looks stunning. But I must admit you need the passenger wing mirror back (off topic i know before anyone starts )
