must admit i've never had an RST properly set up on a rolling road, but the one i have the now was set up just before i bought it and it sure does make a difference compared to my others....
to prove a point, in my cul-de-sac there is my mates 07 plate Corsa VXR which has been parked up for 8 months with a blown gearbox and fcuked clutch, now out of tax with three flat tyres! Another mate has left his 51 plate Audi A6 at mine after spending £2k on head gasket being done, ecu replaced amongst other things and its still not right cos it keeps draining battery and hunting on idle, and then my flatmates Escort GTi which needs something looked at/fixed every weekend lol - but it does get a hard time!
my S2 starts first time, everytime, goes very well for the mods its got and is not bad on fuel considering the price and the type of car it is....its also by far and away the cleanest car in the scheme - which most folk notice if they are round! Deffo something to be said for looking after your car and keepin on top of maintenance/polishing!
Prob just jinxed it right enough!!

i went through a stage of literally everytime it went out it'd either be limping home or towed. this went on for about 6 weeks and i took it to NMS. initially i just wanted a setup but in the end they talked me into some uprated bits too
very expensive for them to do all the work too but i was too pissed off with it, so let them do it. but its been spot on ever since.

Just goes to show that a properly maintained MFI'd RS Turbo is as reliable as any other old car, and that people with really unreliable RS Turbo's usually run them on a shoe string and spend money on making it go faster and not the basics.
Sounds like a nice car you have there, just out of curiosity where was it set up by the previous owner?, as it sound like they did a good job

was set up at AVA in Glasgow - did a great job with it. They also set up my last grey S2 and the difference was unreal.

she has similar brakes to the ones you are selling, but mine must be a tad smaller as I can fit RST wheels over them, however they need a 10mm spacer - can just see them in this one.
