Default Sapphire Front bumper removal

Hello all,

I'm having a right nightmare getting the front bumper off..... the bolt on the inner wing are just spinning and I cant get anything on the back of it to stop it....

Any ideas anyone, surely I can't be the only one that's had this problem??

Not sure I can even fit a grinder in there to take the head off it

HELP!!!

if you can get the black moulding off there should be a few pop rivit's. try drilling them out as they hold on the bracket. once the bumper's off you should be able to get to the spining bolt.

I used a die grinder to grind away the bolt head, then after getting the captive "nut" bit out drilled through, sawed a little of the bracket away so now I can get a SS bolt all the way through both bits and put a SS nut on the other side with a large washer under the nut, fiddly yes but hidden and works 100%.

Job done mate

5 rivets and off she came!!

I then grinded the head of the nut off keeping it cool with water and pulled the bolt through,

thanks
