went and had a look at the rs today and came away a happy boy.The floors had rotted away but have been welded batt tray boot floor ect is all a1.Next step is to polish it to within an inch of its life tommorow and sort out a few bits that are not to my taste like the head unit dont like in dash dvd just dont seem right.I would like to know what you guys think its worth so if a gaffa reads this can i put a thread on with pics to ask what its worth as i have no intention of selling it many thanks and i might see a few off you at the meet in hockley on the 27th

no not at the back the bloke i had it off said it rubbed the tyres when he had his pals in it so put the back to standard so i need rear springs

 

looks clean mate. does sit high though. like mine lol.

 

its like an old skool hot rod gonna paint flames down the sides to fit in lol.Im searchig e bay to try and get some rear springs

 

just cut em ....lol

got it saturday and had this week of work so ive just been cleaning it engine bay mainly and working out what the previous owner has done to it so i will get some more pics up at the weekend when its cleaner

swaped my bmw 520 for it got bored of driving whales so i thought of a car i want and seen this and the deal was done.been trying to sort out why the fan wont kick in on its own only when useing a dash switch and wether the ecu has been chipped

Sorry did you mean whales as the place. or was you refring to the size of the 5 series.

prob fan switch faulty. buy look of coolant bottle in pic looks like in might of got hot before. there prob just boshed a switch in as a cheap fix.

 

i ment as in size and the water was as rusty as hell so i gave it a good flush out and refilled with anti-freeze in it this timetheres no over heating issues with it,no mayo in filler cap and isnt using water/oil just a bit tappety like always lol

 

i have 2 spare rear lowering springs. there brand new never fitted if you need em Ł10 collected. or plus p&p im unsure on the drop tho ive had em a while but still look new.

 

i mite be interested in them but i spoke to the bloke who i had it off and he said he has some spare bits for it like wings shocks and springs so when i get them im hoping it will be the rear springs.I should have them the middle of next week if you could wait till then and l will let you know
