my T5 gear bix is slowly dying !!!
does that mean i got a powerfull car, agressive with the car or just got a fooked box
just wondering as i cant select 4th from 5th since i got it back from stu (not stus fault btw as he was driving gentle as i asked him to

wouldnt say its shite, its not actually thrown its toys out the pram like my cvh boxes did
just its playing it and getting worse, wanted to know if its cause ofnthe power of me car ect

I was having gear selection troubles on ma 3dr, esp 1st to 2nd, fitted a B+M quickshift and it was magicly cured 
But going by how "hard" (ie not) you drive, id guess the box was on its way already and now is even more so.
Whens the last time the gear oil was changed? It got any in there?

My last one lasted 1800 miles....
1000 of which was running the engine in....
800 miles

, just 5th gear aint needed on my car
the powerband on mine is not exactly small
, it may seem small but its deffo strong
just wondering as 3rd is starting to play up now

i know its the sycro ( what ever that is
) as for gearbox oil i aint tried that yet
does that redice that problem though ????

itys crunching in 4th gear but when i got it back off stu i discovered i couldnt select 4th from 5th gear ( but then i did let switch drive it back, hes not exaclty gentle
) and now ive noticed 3rd gear its becomming a problem to get in gear and i have to select second with the clutch dipped to get it in gear, only happens when its warm too, driving to work is fine ( low speed though remember )im gonna bell bernie tommorow but just wondering

But while you at it get Bernie to check over the box and he will tell u if anything needs doing to it. Thats what i done luckly my box just need syncros as the rest was mint
