Default focus st bonnet

Hi folks

Can anyone help??
The bonnet on my st is not opening with the key! It turns but doesn't release the catch mechanism. Any ideas on how to resolve this will be much appreciated.

You do know you turn it one way to unlock it so the bonnet pops up and then the oppposite way to release it totally?

theres a plastic clip that will have snapped/came out of its socket. you need to push like hell on the key forcing the clip back in,turning both ways as you push. once you get it open get to your local ford dealers tell the guy at the parts desk whats happened and he should know whats snapped because its a common problem
