how can i tell if my clutch is on its way out iv tryed coming off the clutch in 4th and it stalled does this mean its ok only other thing is when im in 3rd and i put my foot down it seems like its slipping its a sierra twincam with a t9 box

Find a fookin steep hill and try to drive up it. How many miles has the clutch done?

 

its done about 5k maybe a lil more

 

Should have plenty more life in it yet then unless there is another problem with it, at 5k miles it's unlikely its worn out. Years ago i had a clutch fitted that turned out to be faulty but if this was the case with yours you would have noticed it long before now.
Any other symptoms?

 

oh yh i have a funny sound when i come off the clutch when my cars not in gear sometimes like a ratling noise ?????
