Default Yes!! Last bad memory gone!!!!

As most on here know I split from my lying cheating whore of an ex last year. At the time it nearly killed me, now I see how much better off I am. Anyways, cash has been a bit tighter as I have sole ownership of the flat and have been working towards decorating and removing all of her furniture. There was a chest of drawers in the living room that were hers and the last piece left. I know teh drawers look a bit wrecked in the first pic but I wasn't being very gentle as I emptied them. They were pretty mint until that point of the day

I carefully took the chest downstairs to the car park.

I couldn't beleive it when it fell apart I only kicked it twice

Damn it felt good, last bad memory erased from my home.
And a nice new stand in place. I know the sofa is shocking and it's the next on my to do list but I want to save for it rather than get credit. Then just need to repaint the walls.

I'm sure this seems a pointless thread but I'm chuffed to bits and feel like a demon has been exorcised

I saw a sofa same as that, in Norwich, nice museum it was!!
Seriously looks ok to me, looks comfy, should see my worn out knackered sofa that I won't get rid of, just feels part of the family now!!
Good on you for ridding the demons.

LOL at everyone more interested in the surrounding furniture/audio!

Well done and is a great achievement. A lot of respect for saving rather than credit with the couch. Unless you can manage it well and make it work for you, that is the best option.

I must buy one of those stereos, until i have one i will feel like the odd one out and my audio enjoyment will somehow feel incomplete (what a load of old bollocks lol).

what a waste - you could have given that away to someone that needed it on freecycle rather than smashing it up

When I booted out my ex I split up all the shoes & boots she had left including a rather expensive pair of riding boots, gave her all the left side and took the right side to the dump!

I wanna see the video though, stick it up in the mens room fella.
