Has there been a big accident there within the last few weeks?

Went down there last night and there was Police stopping every car from getting in, and there was Police everywhere.. constantly moving everyone out of Tescos aswell.

 

It will be coming to an end soon, as thats whats happen to other well know spots around the country such as Hams Hall and Festival Park in Stoke.Police are getting injuctions to stop the meets.

 

u mean lakeside essex?yeah some guy was decapatated after he was racing by truckworld,hit a bump in the road ended up going through a fence so ive heard.its dead up there now

 

Yeah, there was a nasty accident up there, and well the old bill are everywhere!!

We were first parked up at the burger bus, then got moved on from there, so decided to go to the services as tbh if we parked in a bay they can't really kick ya out of there! Then me and a mate decided to leave, we came out of the services towards the A13 roundabout, a vectra came out of no where, driving like a twat and flew through the red traffic lights, turns out it was undercover old bill, he did that to see if we would then follow on through the reds then get us at the next lights as he was then sitting there on the side of the road!! Then past the next lights, old bill on each entrance to roundabout, then blue lights start goin they all dart onto the roundabout! lmao 3 of them then followed us to the M25, before letting us get on with our journey without a police escort

 

Isn't there anywhere else to go? Been shit down there for ages prob the final nail in the coffin.

 

we been tryin to think of places, but hitting a brick wall with it!

As a club, after our monthly meet, we would normally go down to lakeside for a drive together and make a night of it, but now we dont know where to go...

any ideas welcome!! lol

i never thought i would say this but for once a agree with warren, if it was just a meet that you all went to had a chat and a look around each others cars the police wouldn't be there its the fact that some 17/18 year old with 2 minutes driving experience thinks he can drive like jenson button, hence why the police put a stop to it as it normally ends in disaster like the peugeot that was mentioned.

i got a Ł30 fine as i stopped on oliver road to fix my motor as it had a misfire :-( best to stay away as the copper was a right nasty f**ker and he said they are havin a big purge on cruisers.. when i left they were impounding scoobys and other done up motors that was 2weeks ago :-( we need a new meet up place southends shit and they reuined baz

 

Fully agree with you there but it's not always the youngsters in there 1.1's I've seen plenty of over excited knob heads in cossies evo's and the like having close shaves.

 

still children at the end of the day, even if they are in the body of a 40 something trying to trap a 15 year old CHAV girl its immaturity and a complete lack of common fucking sense thats the problem. Its an epidemic of the current generation.

Im not saying im no angel, and when i was 18 i was considered to have little common sense compared to my peers, but even i wouldnt be so fucking stupid as a lot of these teens today. Even to fuck some pricktease teen slapper.

I dont think kids are thicker than older generations, they have the knowledge too, they just dont fucking think before they do something. Its like nobody has taught them, and their sense of danger is waaayyy behind.

 

I agree warren. I'm all up for big burnouts and a good race but do it on a public road and you are just asking for trouble. Same all over the country, really don't see why people are moaning to be honest as they only have them selves to blame.

 

blimey Rory, didn't have much luck there did ya!! When i go down there, it is to go down, meet up with a few mates, we park up and have a chat etc, there are idiots down there, driving like complete bell ends and its no wonder accidents happen! It just ruins it for all those people that are genuinly out and about meeting with people, parking up and keeping safe!!

 

Because there showing off! Never seen the point in a cruise tbh. Just more chance of getting filth hanging about

 

yh theres a place in leicester wheres theres always cruises see i cossie smoking everywhere threw the car park not bothering whats coming and i went on my moped as only 16 and i got pulled saying my bike was illegal told the officer that it wernt and he told me to give it full throttle and they follewed me so i gave it half and got to 40 and they left me 15 min later got pulled by same officer doing 55 in a 50 and he done me 30 pound
