I have a DVD (High Octane 2) Has a Hybusa on it and the speedo is doing exactly the same thing
TBH the engine revs also high and if he did six gear changes then well unless he fixed that as well
he should be doing them sorta speeds on Hybusa (not sure about 220 on standard, thought they just struggled to hit 200 if u lucky
)

First off the bike is NOT standard and has about 300HP if IIRC .
Secondly the bike did MORE than 220 he reached an indicated 220 @ 10,000 RPM when the needle stops but the bike accelerates for another 1100RPM before he shuts the throttle

Guy starts off in 1ST he does 5 changes WHICH puts him in 6TH GEAR
http://www.hyp4r.com/hayabusa/specs_performance.htm
This site give the speed per gear ratio @ max revs
Max Speed & Max Revs :
(1999 Models) 1st Gear : 135Kph
2nd Gear : 185kph
3rd Gear : 230 Kph
4th Gear : 275 Kph
5th Gear : 305 Kph
6th Gear : ??? Kph
It doesn'et give top speed in 6th, but if it maxes out in 5th at a shade under 200pmh I can believe it.
This site says the bike has a top speed of 332km/h

tis an old vid now , and its pukka , that bike was tuned a while ago , no too sure if it was 300 horse , but i can vouch for how fast hyabusa's do accelerate , and they are that fast , its not long before teh speedo looks like a rev counter , and please do bear in mind that it is a std speedo , so will be out at that speeds, but is still awsome and would still kick your pussy ass cars asses to fook
( flame suit on ) hit me with it !!

When we were at Brunters on the Topspeed a Bike Mag was there & they said an Haybusa had been tested & achieved 198 down Brunters, this was before our run.
We destroyed the Triumph Daytona they were testing, but when we beat the Hayabusas time they were gobsmaked & im not sure they believed it.

rod i have nothing to prove ,
why dont you ring up the bike mags and ask them for a challenge, there fastest bike against the fastest car - or your car will do
sorry couldnt resist that , but , i think its a good challenge , hasnt been done for a good few years , and car and bike tuning has progressed massivly since it was last done .
ill be off down the bookies

Mine (750bhp) was Faster than a standard Hayabusa down Brunters a few mods to the bike & its no contest, but aint that fairly obvious.
Even a standard Busa would destroy my Cossie up to 150 above that he may have more probs than he thinks.

If you have never ridden a fast bike there is no point trying to explain just how fast they accellerate or what it actually feels like sat out there in the wind with your arms being stretched.
