Exclamation under pressure

just found out me fuel pressure reg is leaking.

so got me a nice aermotive jobby with a gauge

so wondering what me fuel pres should be set at at idle

car has 803s
not sure what chip new one on way from stu
t3

ask whoever wrote the chip - they're the only people who'd know for sure

if its msd chip they set there fuel pressure @3.5 bar atmosperic hope this helps

cheers have it set at 3.5 now

so should it read at 0 when the engine off?
as that what it showing!!!

seems to dip down when i rev the engine is this right?
might have to rewire me pump

yes it will drop to 0 with out the engine running as the pump will not be running constantly. when u plug the pipe back on it should drop to 3bar and the fuel pressure should raise on a 1:1 ratio with the boost so if ur pushing 2bar of boost the fuel pressure should raise to 5bar

I would do the pump rewire yesterday if not already done, killed many a cossie engine low pressure has, don't forget fan rewire too.

have fans and pump rewired..busy mornin lol

have te fuel press at 3.5 vacuum pipe off
