MORE 3i woe....
Just spent about 3 hours this morning checking everything again, hoses in the right place, fuel lines connected so on and so forth.
Had the inlet manifold off, another gasket on it put it all back together. Had the battery charged up all night last night.
Put it in, cranked it over and I though, this should do it.
PHITSH!!!!!
Cloud of white smoke that smells like semi burnt fuel sprayed out from the head
Gasket gone again
It's a brand new gasket, and the manifold is so tightly put on I doubt I'm ever going to get it off again.
So a few more goes.
PHITSH!!!!! five more times and then on the sixth go.
it started!
Turned over for about 30seconds at 2k then the revs dropped and dropped untill it died.
So sod it, taking it to the garage when I get paid and let them sort it, fed up with tinkering
You guys have any ideas? Dont wanna spend another £200 on it
