Default A quick and easy PC question

Im in the process of building my new pc (learning as i go )

Am i right in thinking i can mix and match the make of ram, or does it all have to be the same????

I have 1 512mg ddr ram made my crucial, and 1 512mb ddr ram made by dell, will they work ok together???????

Should work ok m8, if they run at the same speed then there shouldn't be a problem.

so all the little numbers after it sayes 512mb ddr ??? ??? all need to match up on the 2 sticks of ram??

Dell ram can be funny matey, sometimes it plays up in other machines and wont play ball, best bet is to plug it in and see!

No m8, you need to know if its pc2700 pc 3300 etc etc
