Hope someone can give me some help...?!

My wife was driving her fiesta back from work a couple weeks ago and it started chucking out loads of black and blue smoke, then eventually died. AA came to recover her, and attempted to fix it for her on the spot. He said that it was the EGR valve and he didn't have the part. Got the Fiesta back to a garage for them to fit the new EGR. Surprise surprise it's still the same. Runs really lumpy and chucks out loads of smoke still.

We then took it to the local Diesel 'specialist' who cannot find the fault. The injectors have been out and been tested, new seals have been replaced.

When they were fiddling about with the electrical connecters on one of the injectors, it apparently ran fine for a little while. But they cant seem to get it to run good permanently.

Has anyone got any other ideas??
