Vibrating noise out of exhaust comes from turbo
Hi mate's
As the tittle says i've a vibrating noise in the exhaust. And it comes from the turbo. But what to do?
The other side of the actuator goes in the turbo and that (axle?) is vibrating. See pic what i mean.
Cheers

classic case of worn wategate actuator "penny" valve, where the penny shaped valve connects to the actuator the pressing work themselfs loose over time, nothing to worry about to be honest, i ran one like that for about 3 years lol.
very clean engine bay i must add (wish mine was as clean but its used and abused every day lol)

As above only need to worry if the turbo body where the shaft passes through is worn, the washer is slightly loose on the shaft so that it seats 100% flat when closed, it needs a tiny amount of movement, usually the shaft rattling in the body is more common.

Thanks for the reply's. Tomorrow i take a look for what to do.
The noise came not from the actuator and the penny. But the axle in the turbo himself.
Other way i've a good excuse for a bigger turbo.
