my car is dead at the min, car will turn over but wont fire up, had auto electrician out and he sed its the pats key transponder thing??? this has happened since using a bluefin handset to use as a diognostics tool, its immobilsed the car, just wondering what to do now as he said it could possibly of wiped my whole ecu, is there any way of sorting the immobilser side of things cheers

 

Sure Ive read somwhere you can reset Ecu by disconnecting negative lead on battery for 10 mins press the brake pedal here and there to dissapate any residual current then re connect? Never tried It so may be bollox mind lol

 

If it is immobiliser then it won't even turn over!

 

get another ecu and key.go bury salvage
