Default Temprature issues.

Hi All,

I’m experiencing some strange issues with my temperature readings in my MK2 Focus. When I load up the test diagnostics mode it reads my engine temp as anywhere from 120*c to 134*c however my needle is reading a mm or so before the middle point which is where it should be.
The car seems to be running fine no signs of it overheating or any performance drop, could anyone possibly explain why this may be happening?

Apperently this is a common problem with a Focus and its not unusual to have those high readings so i wouldnt worry!
