Whats the Best way of fixing this rusty bit without taking the side pnls off?
Just cut away the fillercap so i can access the inner wing?

 

 

who knows where i can find this bit ? Its to far gone to refurbish

 

Id see if you could get a part from the scrap yard, failing that id make it in sections and weld it together

 

get on to ford parts uk, you can still get them new for around 20-30 quid.

 

i cut mine out from the back and replaced it with bits i cut out of my combi







havent got a pic from the underside but it was part of the combi origonal inner arch about 2" bigger than the cup
tacket the cup in and seam welded the plate back over

 

Ok i'm going to take a look @ the breakyard to look for my needs.
I allready know a place where there r a couple of old fords...bin there allready

I've had a good look around the breakyard and this was the best of all..


Not good as you can see, the paint is blistering because of the rust behind it.
So i have made it myself, with some nice hard wood and a 'woodmill'?



cut the back out end put my pl8 in



Only need to weld it fully end finish it now
