Right need a bit of advice my m8 has just bought a mk4 cabby and is having some work done on the head but wants to know which is the best headgasket am i right in saying saying stay away from felpro and that the cometic multi-layer gasket is the one to go for??? Thanks in advance

Sitech racing - they do a REUSABLE multi layer head gastket solely manufactured for zvh engines.

as above sitech racing there not cheap but very good, phone simon and talk to him they come in different thicknesses 01796 481495 im sure he could help you out.

 

if its a 1.8 zvh, you can use a standard 1.6 cvh head gasket,or if 2 litre, or a 2.1 get the head welded up, and use the standard focus rs or st170 headgasket,
