Default Need part no. of Focus RS MK1 Turbo Garrett GT2560

Hi everyone,

I've just requested the compressor and turbine map diagrams of the standard turbocharger used in the Focus RS Mark 1 from Honeywell/Garrett, but they say they need the part no., should be a six digit number followed by one to four digits like this 123456-123.

Does anybody happen to have a close-up pic or the turbo itself sat in the shelf?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since i need the compressor maps to complete my master thesis at uni, but i don't have the turbo anymore...

Cheers,
Markus

Hey Luke,

thanks for you help mate, i can nearly read the tag clearly on pic 17. I can read the "Warranty Void If Removed", but the number in between which is more important is a bit blurry. Does it say 10425 or 10325 or 10825???

Mine had an alloy tag from Ford with several numbers on it looking like this:

All I can read off this pic is the last 2 digits: "5A"

Does anyone know those part numbers or have the possibility to get a glance at them?

Cheers,
Markus

Brilliant Moondustka, brilliant!

I think I need the middle one, but I'll just let the guys at Garrett/Honeywell decide for me

I like your Ka... Big meaty intercooler balls hanging out the front
Are you planning on slamming the FRS engine in there?

Cheers,
Markus

Hey Moondustka,

sorry to bother you, but they say they can't find the number in the system. Could you please double check the "722879-3"? Is it a standard GT2560 from Ford?

Greets,
Markus

Read it again. Might be 722979-3 (Just the stamped dots are so close together! - can't really see)

Thanks mate, 722979-3 is indeed the correct number. Unfortunately I was told that the compressor and turbine map for this number are missing in the Garrett database. It seems I'm out of luck after all.

But thank you again, Moondustka, I really appreciate your help!

Cheers,
Markus
