thought they made that sort of power on one turbo, why the need for two?

 

i would say its to eliminate lag as its a gt30 and gt40 turbo the accelaration on that must be awesome, even with standard power these are awesome to drive

 

seems pretty pointless.

 

full boost by 3600rpm? not pointless at all.
in motorsport people spend shitloads sheving milliseconds............. pointless?

so the GT30 is getting to full boost by 3600.. brilliant. I'd imagine thats mainly due to the fact that its a 2.4 litre engine. not a 2ltr

so why is it not making much more power than a single 'GT30' would?
certainly not as much power as you would hope for 2 bar on a GT40... not that you can really know what turbos they are just by saying GT30 or 40.

so yeah..seems like quite a lot of effort for not much gain really??

EDIT: the comparison on the video isnt really relavent.. as they are not compairing a GT30 setup to
that twin turbo set up...

 

exactly my thoughts, if its making that boost already then why have a second turbo when the single would make that sort of power on a 2.4 engine wouldnt it.

Or go for a gt35.
