i bought an rs a few months ago and the bloke i got it off chucked in a charge coolersystem, i think it is a peace one, any one no if there any good? and what sort of brake horse power they are good for?

took mine off and replaced with decent intercooler, think they are good, but with pump, tank, rad, etc, it takes up a lot of room in the engine bay, and my rad was onloy small so temps werent as good as they couldve been

 

mine was great in traffic, im not sure on how much boost you can chuck through them tho, and the pump can be prone to pack up

 

Someone i know had one at 18psi, he said it was great for an hour but once it heated up it was time to pull over and let it cool down.

i think the rst's problem is the pre rad gets no airflow and what air it does get is warm.maybe a pre rad set up similar to the focus rs may give better act's, running along the front bumper getting maximum airlfow.as the focus rs CC system is actually a decent set up
