what is it with theese cosworth blocks spliting,got a 200 that i thought was ok untill i saw some small cracks near no1, same with the 205 i just bought,are there any good ones ?,both of theese are pre 90,does that make a differance.

Where exactly are the cracks ?, if they are tiny ones radiating from a bolt hole, this may not necessarily spell doom, depending on use intention.

one block has cracked both ways accross a bolt hole and i,am suspicious about one near a waterway,,i,ll sent them in to be checked propely me thinks, i run n/a,but wont be happy unless there right,to much monies on internals and head for disasters.
