Steering rack for RS 2000

Does any one know if the Steering rack for The RS 2000 is the same as a Gti?

Looking in the AMK book they list them as different racks.

Not sure if the ratio is different, but a lot of later Escorts had PAS cooling, and earlier ones didn't so the fittings can be different.
