Project - Mk4 Escort Cabriolet with a modern touch.
Well my car started out as a mk4 cabriolet with a 1.6 mfi cvh in. no real mods just had a few touches, RST gearbox, RST interior and ford motorsport rocker cover.

After driving the car for a few months it just didnt have the power im wanting so ive decided to have a change and put a modern touch to it.
Plans i have are.
The engine conversion, 1.8 Zetec (1.8 due to it being more revy then the 2.0) This is 90% complete got a local guy coming tomorow to wire my PATS system back in im using a more modern zetec e engine from a 2000 modeo ghia x.
To add to the zetec is a powerworks supercharger kit from the states
Omex management system
Sierra cosworth injectors ran by MF2 mapable injecor unit.
Custom inlet manifold(currently designing this on CAd myself)
Swirl pots for water and oil with a remote oil filter and cooler.
Front mount airtec intercooler and alloy radiator.
Possible custom titanium exhaust / Ashley black SS exhaust.
Race Fuel pump to get the fuel up there.
285 cams with ported gasflowed head and the usual arp bolt set.
Full poly bushed
GAZ gold fully adjustable coilovers.
16" compomotive TH2's with 888's
Rear disc conversion from the sierra cossy
Front brakes are 300mm Wilwood superlights with bells and rotors, braided lines and the usual.
Wilwood master cylinder.
Samco boost pipes, Custom samco water pipe working, routing has been rerouted.
exterior will stay pritty much standard same mercury grey might splash out on carbon bonnet and tailgate.
Interior will stay virtually stock aswell, bar a few gauges to keep that extra eye out. black dash and plastics. might get Focus RS bucket seats, the Sparco ford racing ones, just for the bit more modern and comfort.
dash will have a double din moniter running the omex managment for on the fly tuning and mapping. gauges will be mounted were radio use to be.
And thats about what i have planned so far =D hopefully be chucking in the region of 400+ Bhp and aiming for 450+ torque.
