hey im am wanting to put xr3i 2 pot front calipers in to the rear of my sierra which had drums but i am told by a few friends dat wen i am brakeing it will lock the rear wheels before the front the oppiste of wat ther soposed to do an den causeing me to lose control.
does anybody have any ideas how to set the brakes up so that it will brake the front more than rear?? many thanks if u can help me or even have an opinion! evan
i dont understand why u want to make things difficult for your self its not even like u need super hispec brakes as u have a 1.8 diesel sierra??
just buy a complete rear brake assembly from a old Xr4x4 or something for 100 quid and bolt it straight on

yeah cosworth set up is VERY good, fitting two pots is a waste of time tbh. plus it ant going to make it stop any better, set of 2wd/4x4 cailpers with good pads/discs cant go wrong,

the engine is being changed to a sr20det out of a nissan s14 u see..yea i mite go with the xr4x4 or the 4x4 cossie.
oh thats a good engine. dare i say it better than a YB in standard form :O
i agree i never was fond of the yb engine dat why im goen wif the sr20det going to rebuild it with all uprated stuff as well hope to be running about the 350bhp mark.evan
would it not be worth floggin the sierra and just buying a 200sx. u can get reasonable ones for like 2 grand. sierra would probably fetch a grand with the work uv done on it
would be cheaper than modifying the sierra to fit a rebuilt sr20
