hello people, im new to this form chat

anyways

ive got series 2 escort rs turbo on a g

anyone got any idea of good mods for my car ( but i want to stick to my cvh) and do not want to convert to efi if possible,

whats the most amount of bhp i can get?

so far i have;
collins unlimited boost ecu
piper cam kit- lifters,cam and pulley
31 garret
full 3 half scorpien exhaust
k & n
pace intercooler
ported and polished head, maniford, inlet and throttle
baileys dump value

whats the next stage this aswell?

any help or any view guys?

Get a better intercooler, Stage 2 T3 or above and get it setup properly. i guarantee it will be twice the car.

if not, just get it setup as it is. i still guarantee you won't be able to spend better money.
Where in brum are you?

I took mine to NMS in derby. Very pricey but also very good.

I get around abit, in aston and highgate some of the time though, bit rough but..

Grs ! not to easy to get hold of and they take a while to be made if you order one new.

If you want your car set up and don't mind traveling i would go to jano oddkidd its abit of a drive but well worth it, he is a very nice guy and is very fairly priced have a look at his forum oddkiddcreations.co.uk , i would have thought he might be able to hook you up with a good cooler to

Yeah as above.
GRS is widely regarded as the best on this forum. There are other options though, Airtec, pro alloy and others will be up to the job. You'll also need new slimline fan(s) which are expensive.

A Stage 2 T3 Turbo will give you good spool up and will be sound to well over 200bhp. at about 220 - 230 you'll want a Stage 3 T3. this will take slightly longer to spool but will have more legs.

With the turbo, intercooler and a setup i'd say you'll be safely around 200bhp.

after what else has been suggested if you still want more power and don't want to go efi then a fifth injector kit is the only other option. this should see you capable of upto 260bhp maybe more with the right setup. it's proper old tech as far as tuning rst's go but like i said it's pretty much the only way to go if you want to stay MFi. one other thing mate, ditch the dump valve. they're not only unnecessary but they tend to cause running issues like shit idle or cutting out due to vacume leaks. plus to be honest they just scream chav.

really? i didnt know that about the dump value, the only reason i really got it on there is best it sounds nice, also stops people thinking its a xr3i (cant stand it)

were would i get a 5th injector kit?

so what sort out bhp do you think i currently have lads? after what i listed above?

I completely forgot about the fifth injector job i think if you don't want to go efi then fifth injector will be the way forward, altho i have never had any experience with a fifth injector i have heard they can run abit funny due to the fuel not being equally dispersed ( don't hold me to that tho)

Can i ask the reason you don't want to convert to efi ?

And what boost are you running ?

well to be honest, never really saw the point of converting 2 efi,

but suppose main reason is because i dont want to be changing wiring loom and messing about electrical items

if i was to change the loom id want a serious power thats the main reason not just 20-30bhp, id want over 300bhp if i was to change the loom in which id just focus rs the escort

the cars running 1 bar of boost, also what sort out boost should i be running?
