Default CO adjustment 2wd

had m.o.t yesterday passed
prob is car was running great when went there, then they adjusted CO to get the pass ! now set at 2% they didnt tell me what was set at just said sky high ! car running rough and srtuggling tick over now im running an ahmed bayjoo chip stage 3 this was done few years back now and the older chips like to run rich. want to have a tweak at it until go and get set up done. which way to richen clockwise or anti clockwise ?
car is 2wd ecu has white screw. none of local garages near me want to help by just sticking probe up while i adjust !
any help appreciated

l6 richen anticlockwise, l8 richen clockwise.

i richen until it runs smooth on idle, quite noticeable when the car stops puff and cough the co is ok

Either you have another problems, as well, or the chips not that great, jesus I run(perfectly) 0.97% on GREYS with 198,000 on the bottom end.

You need to know what Ahmed has written the chip for and then set the CO to that value with the car up to running temp with no fans on. Be aware that the 'Global Mod' adjusts the fuel map as a percentage, you should get AFR checked when adjusted to make sure it's not running lean.
