Hi all
I have just bought a newman camkit with solid lifters and double valve springs.
Does anything else have to be done to the head in order to fit these items?
The only reason i ask is i have heard from some people that the double valve springs are to hard and can end up ripping the rocker posts out, so some people opt for just the one spring, which kind of defeats the object to me?
Can anybody shed any light on this?
Cheers guys

It massively increases lobe wear from what I was told, and that after all is the biggest problem with the CVH head, even a Newmans doesnt last that long before your loosing power again
