Started changing my turbo round earlier from the 34 to the 38, the 38 was previously fitted to a 4x4 so ive had to change the necessary bits round.

thing is i cant seem to move either back housing around to get the turbo hanger bracket off

spent hours up the garage but neither will budge, any sugestions ???

I'd throw it back at the fat fucker that sold it to you!!!!

 

 

Try some WD40 and then hit it with a rubber mallet. Did 3 turbos that were all stuck like that.

 

Paul as long as you got the T34 off in one piece for that handsome chap that wants it then its all good

A t38 does that mean you make over 500bhp...Can,t belive you got 430+ on a t34..
are you going to bring it to the meet on the 27th..

Spent another hour earlier and the fucking thing still wont move, bought some lubricant called gas something left it for 30mis and still dont budge, think its gonna get the better of me

 

Why not to pop down to BTN Turbos in uxbridge?

They may be able to release the back housing for you.

 

No way was that dyno run accurate! 360-370 tops!

 

im thinking about tieing it to the back of my van and doing a few junctions on the 25, you rekon that woukld release it ?

The back housing has now been released!!

Took his bloody time though!!
