Default just found a virus........(but i can't find my tool :oops:

just found the Net Sky worm thing on my work computer

anyone know what this virus does? I've deleted the files it was in but am worried about what it has done already!

Sure i read something about it somewhere

use the new Microsoft virus removal tool, on windowsupdate. This cleans perfectly all latests viruses such as sasser, sobig, netsky, gaobot etc etc.

yep - ive got loads of bugs on mine. did windows update (which a virus stopped me getting the latest version for a while! ) and they are all stored in a safe place and computer runs fine!

are you on XP? just click your start menu and you should see windows update. or follow the programs link to find it depending on your set up!

so how do i run this tool? i've looked on my pc and it said it has already downloaded it as i have automatic updates. but i can't actually see the tool! is it an exe file?

I would suggest using the Stinger to to check for the infection, or any remains of it
