Will update with some pics later, hes off cage rest, had some more x-rays just under 2 weeks ago and the surgeon was really impressed with him.
He has a lot of muscle wastage due to the cage rest etc so hes on 3x10 min walks a day, increasing 5 mins per week for a month, not allowed off his lead for a month til he is healed, and they dont need to see him again.
He's still a happy chappy, now into chewing everything and emptying the bin! His scar healing quite well but has a bit of a hump where the scar tissue is but they expect it will just slowly decrease with time.
He chews anything and everything possible at the minute - no furniture yet touch wood but hes quite happy considering what hes been through. Still has a large lump where his stitches were, its the positioning of his pelvis more than anhything else but he seems generally a happy dog!
Just needs building up as is quite skinny since the accident
Looks great, winstons the same loves sitting chewing a stick or a branch of some sort. in a years time it will all be forgotten dogs live in the moment anyway.
