Standard rads for rs turbo s2?
I was wondering if anyone knew the life expectancy of a alloy rad like a pace one for example. Im fed up of the standard "made up of wet toilet paper" rs radiators. Like my exhaust for example, full stainless, have not needed to replace any of it. In my old car it was at least one section of exhaust a year. I can only think an uprated rad would be better anyway, but, can anyone tell me if they last well for the extra cash? ta
I ran pro alloy stuff on my last RST's, never let me down. Had an S1 with the same kit on it that kept punching a hole in the cooler (s1 set up doesnt have the fans mounted between the rad and cooler so they rub a bit.
However I let PA know and they took it back and sorted it, even replaced it and made me a "anti rub device" (aka bit of rubber round the cooler) that was the second time it happened, so even when it did terminally fuck up they sorted it.
Cant recommend them enough.
