basically the black alcantara part of the seat base has become rough on the drivers side, can anything be done to it so it's al nice and soft again?? Or is it a case of gettin a new seat base.?

dont forget though that by shaving it your making the material thinner, and it isnt very thick to start with!!

i wouldnt shave it more then once as it might start showing the white lining beneath it

 

The seat will be fine mate.You are only shaving the shit that is sticking up if you do it right. Don't lean too hard because that's when you lift material youdon't have to and end up with a seat like a fuckin tea bag.
