Default focus rs interior wear

basically the black alcantara part of the seat base has become rough on the drivers side, can anything be done to it so it's al nice and soft again?? Or is it a case of gettin a new seat base.?

I asked the local trimmer about using Alcantara in my Sierra and he warned me off, saying it wouldn't stand up to daily use, which surprised me as it still looks great in my mate's W Reg S6

I was told 2 shave it, lol sounds silly but i gave this a go come up alright. . It's covered about 50k just started goin rough i wear jeans everyday so im gonna blame them. Lol

Jeans and Alcantara is a bad combo. If it bobbled you might get away with shaving but use a shitty bic razor because they have no lube strips on them. I have seen razors used on the collar of Polo shirts to good effect by a friend of mine.
