Default Why, oh WHY do people order red leather trims ???!!!

They look fecking awful in ANY car of ANY age !

There are piles of them round here and no matter how good the car looks if I see red leather (or ANY red in there bar piping) I immediately loose interest. Went to look at a lovely SL500 today, pulled up - red leather. Walked away without looking at the rest.

Does anyone else feel the same ?

nah not a fan of red leather especially some of the bmw ones which are more of a browny dried blood colour. the gullwing merc pictured here looks ok with it but would look far better with white or cream leather

Varys from car to car, looks gopping in cars like ferraris/ Porsche etc, but really suit darker colour german saloons like the m3 etc? As said, I think it is entirely dependant on the car. But I do like the darker red, the bright red really doesn't suit many cars at all...

9/10 cars look far far better with black leather, the colour I can't get my head round is tan/ beige dog poo colour leather, just makes 99.9% of cars look horrid?

I think that just looks tacky. Spoils the rest of the car. In my opinion it looks like BMW couldn't find the correct seats and just thought "fuck it, bung these red ones in and hope a colour blind person buys it".

You have my vote mate.

Digressing slightly, saw a nice cream leather interior in a Mk1 Focus RS at Central day at the Pod.

Red leather can look uber sexy in the right car

Granted, your usual shitty series 2 or whatever with a red interior will look PONY
