Default Clutch Fork

Hi all, just looking to pick a few peoples brains if possible,

I've got a loud vibration on my 3dr after i finished building it, sounds like its coming from around the gearbox. Am having all the prop, diff etc checked out, and the engine mounts etc also checking exhaust the usual suspects.

However in my search for solutions i have read that the T5 gearbox should have a rubber boot over the clutch fork and that without it the fork may vibrate against the bellhousing? I must admit i wasnt aware of this, and my box certainly doesnt have one! Does anyone know if the T5 is indeed meant to have one of these rubber boots and if so where i can get my hands on one?

Cheers!

It does have one as std yes, would be worth seeing if ford still do them, if not breakers, they do cause a right racket between the arm and bell housing aperture when not there.

Been to Fords today and as i suspected, its an obsolete part no longer made

Dont suppose they're the same as any other gearbox are they (would i get one off a transit or Sierra GLS etc)

I can't see it being wildly different from a type 9 one, so should find one in breakers easy enough.
