my lad has a 1.25 fiesta ,y reg, but its developed a weird fault, when you turn on the ignition non of the dials register,ie you start the car but the needles dont move, after around a minute or so they all spring into life, its like its going through a checking procedure or something? also the interior clock cant be adjusted so its an hour out still, any ideas chaps?

Think the clock needs to be adjusted with the engine running, or ignition on at least.

No idea about the clocks though. Does nothing at all work, warning bulbs/speedo etc?

Failing that check the others.
