Yesterday i went off to test ride some new bikes. I have had a gsxr 750 for the last 5.5 years and really fancied a newer version. On wed i went and set up a shot of a brand new one from the bike shop. I did wonder about trying the 1000 cc version but always assumed they were just plain nuts. I had only ridden my mates K1 gixxer thou and a k4 thou before. The k1 was just silly!

Anyways the guy in the showroom asked if i wanted to test ride a Kawasaki ZX10 Ninja. I've always regarded these as nutter bikes and more track orientated. Now it's been a while since i did some reading on them and hadn't realised they were now slightly more civilised but also the most powerful thou on the market at 186 bhp. I thought fuck it lets see what the fuss is about. I said no to testing the gixxer thou as i really dislike the stupid exhaust at either side

Funny thing was i always said i never wanted a kawasaki as tbh i'm suzuki/gsxr daft

So yesterday i headed off to the bike shop, oh and i scratched my head a little when i put on my leathers to find that someone has shrunk my leathers over winter

I took out the 750 first and it was great. Probably exactly like i imagined a newer version of my bike to be like. Fast, pretty comfy, smaller bike than mine. Great brakes etc etc. Had it out for about an hr and a half and thought i was pretty hooked. Wasn't sure if i should bother with the kwak...

Thought i best see what the fuss was about and off i went on the zx10. At this point i find it pretty hard to describe exactly how this bike rides. IT'S A FUCKING WEAPON. Jesus christ. I thought my bike was reasonably quick having geared it down but this is a whole other league
You can toddle about in a higher gear using the torque yet when you want to rev it out then fuck me it's fast. I really can't compare it to anything car wise.

I know there are cars out there that share some acceleration stats of bikes and they must be insane Anything that can match this on 4 wheels deserves big credit

Anyways enough waffle. Who has actually had the priveledge of feeling thou power? I'm a convert
