oil pressure

Default oil pressure

my oil pressure on hot engine with full throttle to the rev limiter is 37 psi !
I am affraid it is too low, the car runs perfect, engine is quiet but i dont know whats happen. Can i drive with 37 psi to the rev limiter?
At hot iddle my pressure is 22psi

Hot idle doesn't look too bad, but i'd be expecting 50psi in the top half of the rev range.

when was the last time you changed your oil? if the oil is old and thin you will lose alot of pressure

oil is good, pressure is the same just after repleace it

What oil you using? Is the engine high mileage/worn?

What gauge do you have?
I have an autogauge one, and according to that i have 12 psi at hot idle, and about 20 while cruising, i think it tells lie's!

Are you using the same sender that was with the gauge in the audi ?
37 doesn't sound that bad, I would have expected a little higher maybe 45psi.
