Default Tottenham V Arsenal

Looking forward ot the return of Van Persie tonight!

Tottenham want to close the gap on Man City and Arsenal want to close the gap at the top.
Should be a good game.

Gomes was on fire tonight!
Tottenham had some solid defence as well.

However, Robin Van persie! WOW. Had gomes at full stretch 3 times after being on the field for 7 minutes! Arsenal have really missed him.

well done spurs ,time to fook almunia off pricking around diving after he punched the ball when any top class goalie would have caught that ball.

RVP: out for months, not match fit, comes back, works Gomes more than the whole team in over 60 minutes. Nuff said.

Exactly what I thought. He did so well. Made such a difference just having him on the field.

Lack of midfield creativity from likes of Fabregas and Arshavin contributed but no excuse in that respect. Goes to show really who Arsenal's key players are and the level they are compared to the rest of the team. 11 against 11 no controversial decisions 90 minutes of pure football and Spurs come out with the 3 points. Say no more.

Yup, arsenal had 62% possesion in the second half, and only one stretched goal. Diaby, Rosicky and Eboue had shocking games, especially rosicky, his 3 shots where absoluelty terrible. 2 of them ending up at the corner flags!
Eboue was wasteful as ever skying shots from outside the box which he has never scored. Diaby was making great runs then playing the wrong ball, twice again he had wallcott open to his right and hes whipped it left only for it to be picked out by a spurs defender.

i couldnt agree with you more chop, diaby takes too much out of the ball and is always closed down before he makes his mind up.rosickys final ball was terrible and has been since his injury.eboue is too busy falling over at the slightest touch so much its embarrassing.
lets get rvp back in there and lets get back to the football we have came to love as arsenal supporters ,let him link up with the midfield and get rid of that lazy fooker bendtner who looks third division compared to robin.

So glad to see van persie back though! the man is pornographic on the ball.
Anyone would think he hasn't had 5 months out. Reading stats on how important he is to the team. Score 8 goals in the first 11 games this season. Then when he was injured our goal average went from 3.2 per game, to 1.7.

Want to see more of this: (its an oldy but pure skill)

Too right, many keepers would have caught that, but even when he punched, why jump on the floor?? There was no need to, he could easily have landed with two feet then would have been in a much better position to save the volley!!

Same old shit with Arsenal fans "they have 6 first teamers out though to be fair"

Spurs also had "first team players out" Wasnt it Danny Roses first league start for us and what a way to score on you league debut

The Arse were fucking shocking until Van Persie came on, so many wasteful passes and balls going astray, our defence did well and Gomes was a hero in goal, now, we have to play Chelsea on Saturday at the lane, who haven't beat us there for 2 years, if we beat them then it could put the title race back on for the Gunners, so really, I need Spurs to beat Chelsea, Man Utd to beat City, and Wigan to beat Arsenal.
