here is another 1 of my projects,always wanted a sapp cossie so i thought i would look for a donner car similer to the sapp & have ago at making 1,wanted 1 with 4doors that opened aswel so i found this

the front end of the merc is going to be cut off,i brought a 3dr cossie for the donner car aswel,i wanted to use all the chassie,interior & front end.
so i worked out were to cut the mercs front off & got the saw out

then i trimmed the cossie dash & interior to fit


then the chassie needed trimming aswel


i also got the 3dr cut up but didnt take any pics at that time
but hear its sat on the chassie with merc rear




bonnet & windscreen test fit

once i was happy with it i bonded it together,left to harden over night then it was filler time


first sand


more filler


also started work on the front bumper

then mentaslistdave told us all about milliput which is very good stuff,so i had ago at making afew things for it
rouse splitter,bonnet lip & was goin to make quad lights but im not anymore




still more filler going on but use milliput aswel as saves alot of time

looking at the rear doors they just was'nt wright,so i exstended them to the arch & gave it a new arch lip just like the sapp has & started work on the rear bumper


spoiler needs makin wider

started again on the bumper

& this is were ive got up to atm

pete,when i started cutting them up i could'nt believe it but if it turns out good it be worth it oh & i did want to do it white but will see as i got afew white models

this is what i used


ive appiled some milliput to my sapphire

 

araldite stuck it together & used a grinder to cut the holes,why are you goin to have ago at 1?

ive built them up to file down just to give the standard arch flare

 

if i win the merc cheap enough on ebay yes im going for it.

 

i cant wait aswel lol,keep getting distracted by other models

 

wel got abit more done but not much lol
gone for the leather look on the interior but was dark wen took the pics so they aint the best but will do,
also got some putty on the rear arch's,front bumper & sanded side's down abit & rear bumper down ready for more putty/filler







soon be ready for first stages of paint then i can tell what the shape will be like

Fucking brill mate, ive got to ava ago, if i win the merc tho i wont be staarting it strait away cause ive got the estate, 1700t and mk3 van to finish yet, hows your 1700t coming on mate.

yeah it ok,did abit to that aswel,got some more filler on it,if im mixing filler up ill take afew cars to the shed now,that way ill get them done sooner.......i hope
