Default few exhaust heat wrap questions

i had some cheap exhaust heat wrap on my car for a couple of years,
it worked fine and did the job well, but made loads of mess
the fibres come off and just go everywhere.

are there any better ones out there that dont do it?
the dei looks to be the best any 1 used it? does it still make a mess?

i didnt seal the old stuff, but see that dei do a sealer for theirs so will probably give that a go this time.

i have just had my manifold ceramic coated.
waste of time really.
even on just sitting in the garage to warm up to temp the manifold got so hot i cant even tap my fingers on it.
with just the cheap wrap i could at least touch it, almost hold it.
i will be ringing the company that coated it tomorow to see what they say.
