A few of my cheapest and best mods!
Hydraulic clutch conversion £80 never got to worry about snapping cables again!
Quaife quick rack £100 (ebay) much more direct steering, if a little heavy!
Rally design quick shit kit £45, much tighter and closer!
Focus ST 300mm brakes £80, stops like never before!
Magentic sump plug £19, you wouldnt believe how much metal is floating around in your oil!

Do you think the magnet would be powerfull enough to interfere with a crank sensor mounted sierra cvh style?

Sorry mate but WTF is the point in doing away with the drain plug!!!! that just sounds like a massive and pointless pain in the arse.... unless its a dry sump you've made

Oh and mods, spend the last 3 months scrubbing under the car removing all the bloody waxoil..... for all those people who love black wax oil, i hate you.

Cheap in money terms, expensive in time terms.... for any one doing this in the future firstly don't, and secondly just as i was about clean i bought a degreaser gun and am utterly fucked off as it is so so much easier than a pain brush

Cheap for winter soon to be fucking expensive for the summer.

Rob,

My cars built out of expensive, pointless parts which will probably result in it being completely undrivable

I am however going to do a hydralyic clutch conversion at somepoint. I'm watching your car carefully Karl to see if those Wilwood master cylinders really are up to the job.
