Default w.i.p. mk2 xpac with rs 2000 nosecone

right , thought i would start with this one .
have not posted any pics up for a while but all sorted now so here we go.

started with a stripped down mk2 rally shell.

then added some xpac arches designed by me !

snoothed the front end out to get it ready for the nosecone

got the rs2000 nosecone wedge on the fron and sorted out some light housings , again designed and made by me!

at this stage it is all about getting just a general shape together as most things can be changed and tweeked as i go along.

you can see in the next picture that the front spoiler on the rally mk2 shell has now been lost due to the wedge being attatched and will at a later date be re added.

with the basic shape there and the arches sitting correctly i now set about the bodywork , i add primer as i go along to help find any imperfections and smooth them out as best i can

you just got to keep at it mate , you will get there , trust me!
here is some more pics for you.
again , primer added and matt black to the nosecone to get a rough idea on shape and size ,
not looking too bad

quick test of a front grill

at this stage of the build i was still waiting for pictures of the actual car .
when i recieved them it had an xpac kit the blended right in to the nosecone , so i had to add some more to the front end and add the front spoiler.

this is where i am up to with it at present , i have added the extra to the kit to blend with the nosecone.
just got to add the air vents to the xpac kit and that will finish the build work.
then just general rubbing down to get it ready for the diamond white top coat!

its starting to come together now , will get some update pics up soon .
going to finish the projects i am working on now and then stop doing them for a while as i can not stay motorvated on them because of everything else going on at the same time.
